Crude Oil Washing

<\/strong>This course has been designed to meet the requirements of IMO<\/a> Model 1.02. Crude oil washing was made mandatory for new tankers by the 1978 protocol to the MARPOL Convention.<\/p>


Objective:<\/strong>
The course<\/a> has been designed for seafarers on new crude oil tankers of 20,000 tons deadweight and above to be fitted with a cargo tank cleaning system using crude oil washing.<\/p>
