By completing this rigging and slinging safety course, operators will have the knowledge they need to stay safe. Rigging and slinging are commonly used techniques when transporting heavy materials via cranes or pulley systems. Though this process can appear simple, there are many moving parts and considerations that go into every lift. As a result, it\u2019s crucial that riggers are well-trained in the best safety and performance practices. <br \/><br \/><strong>Scope:<\/strong><br \/>Pre-lift hazard assessments and inspections.<br \/>Owner, operator, and supervisor responsibilities.<br \/>Wire rope construction.<br \/>Safety factors and safe working limits.<br \/>Rope and sling inspections.<br \/>Hoist line installation procedures.<br \/>Types of rigging hitches.<br \/>Determining sling types, sizes, and configurations using capacity charts.<br \/>D\/d ratios.<br \/>Sling center of gravity.<br \/>Rigging hardware.<br \/>Crane and hoist signals.<br \/><br \/><strong>Duration:<\/strong> <br \/>2 days<br \/><br \/>Delegates will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course. The training can be booked via our website or email. We ask all delegates to provide their individual email addresses for enrolment purposes for online trainings. We are unable to enroll multiple delegates with one email address.\u00a0 A member of SSM team will email you to confirm the enrolment and provide instructions on how to access the course. You will also receive a separate email with attached documentation \/registration\/GDPR\/ Evaluation\/ which need to be fille, as they are priority for issuing the Certificate.<br \/>Certificates are not generated automatically- upon successful completion of the course, a member of <a href=\"https:\/\/ssm.hr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SSM<\/a> team monitors completions each morning, creates the certificates and then sends them via email the next working day.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rigging &amp;
