D6C – ARPA (management level)<\/strong>

D6C – ARPA (maagement level) course was conducted in accordance with the mandatory minimum conditions for knowledge, understanding and skill according to Table A-II \/ 2 STCW<\/a> Convention 95 ‘and is based on IMO<\/a> Model 1.08 specifications.\u00a0 This course provides a real exercise to use the radar for navigating and avoiding collision in closed waters with heavy traffic and is in principle intended for candidates for a captain’s or ship’s master’s certificate.\u00a0<\/p>

Those who have successfully completed this course will be able to successfully and efficiently use the radar in thigh, restricted waterways,\u00a0 identify potential hazards,
and make the correct navigational decisions and observation-based collision avoidance decisions and radar device design in accordance with avoiding collision at sea.

They will be aware of the time needed to assess the development of a dangerous situation, on the basis of which he will decide and act appropriately and ensure that such action is appropriate and will not lead to further conflict with other ships.
The ability to plan, organize and manage crew members will also be achieved, as well as the exploitation of all navigational data.\u00a0 Successfully completed course will also enable the ability to respond, coordinate and conduct search and rescue operations.<\/p>

After successfully completing the course and exam in Port Authority, candidates will receive the D6C – Survey and radar equipment drawings and use of ARPA at the management level issued by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia.\u00a0<\/a><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><\/main>
