Target audience:
This course is intended for personnel who serve as entrants into confined spaces.
Course content
This course is providing competence training in rescue techniques where work in confined spaces is required. The aim of this course is to train the attendants for entering confined spaces for the purpose of rescuing downed entrants. CSR course will give the prospective rescuer the knowledge and skills to safely and effectively perform a rescue.
The course includes:
- Definition of confined space
- Hazards and Dangers associated with confined spaces
- Characteristics of confined space
- Safe operating procedures in confined spaces
- Duties of the support personnel for confined spaces
- Understand the Permit to work system (PTW)
- Practical confined space entry/rescue (horizontal and vertical).
- Emergency procedures and rescue of personnel in confined spaces
- Inspection, donning, doffing, and use of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) or Supplied Air System (SAS) in normal operation and in emergency rescue conditions.

Prerequisite :
- Identification card or passport

After successful completion of the course candidates will receive CSR - Confined Space Rescue certificate.
