In addition to the simulators, various other unique and modern facilities have been installed exclusively to enhance the skills and knowledge of seafarers in the classrooms.

 

Daily capacity of the centre is 180 candidates.

Cargo Handling Room –  LCHS

Dedicated “Cargo Room” with instructor station and four student stations.

“GMDSS Room”.

  1. One of the original classrooms with capacity for 10 students

  2. Usually used for planned maintenance (e.g. AMOS) and stock control training (using owners package)

“Emergency Room”.

  1. Emergency Response and classroom with capacity for 7 students

MCA/Marlins Approved English Language Test Centre 

SSM Training Centre was the first Marlins Approved Test Centre in Croatia . We provide Test Certificates which are acceptable evidence by MCA of level of English knowledge.

On-site maintenance training for all ranks in order to support the electrician. 

Repair workshop

On-site training in welding, brazing and on-board steel repairs for all ranks.
