Scope (Target audience):
The course is designed to meet the requirements of the Ordinance of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure pursuant to Article 13, paragraph 1 of the Ordinance on titles and certificates of competency of seafarers (Official Gazette 130/13) Code.
The course may be taken by seafarers who wish to obtain an appropriate certificate in order to perform the duties of a crew member forming part of a navigational watch. It is intended for seafarers who want to obtain the appropriate certificate for the duties of the helmsman. This course is organized to provide the candidate with the knowledge and skills required for the crew member of the ship-watch (sailor, wheeler).
Course content :
Upon successful completion of this course, participants should possess the knowledge and skills in seafaring necessary to perform the duties of a crew member who forms part of the navigational watch.
Steerage
Observation
Participation in monitoring and monitoring a safe guard
Work with equipment and emergency procedures
Maneuvering with avoidance of collision on the sea
Duration: 2 day
Course requirement:
Personal identity card or passport
2 personal pictures
At least 16 years of age
At least 6 months of certified navigation at deck service
Certificate of completed education (minimum elementary school)
Certificate D2- Basic safety training
Medical examination (not older than 6 months)
Note to client : After successful completion of the course candidates will receive D4 - Rating Forming Part of Navigational Watch course certificate
