Description:
This course (MRM)™ is a human factor training program, aimed at the maritime industry. Important target groups for MRM training are ships’ officers and crew, all people in shore organizations who have an influence on safety at sea and the work on board a ship.
Course is designed to motivate the team and to change its behavior to good resource management practices during everyday operations. This includes understanding of the importance of good management and teamwork and the willingness to change behavior. An overall objective is to increase safety, efficiency and job satisfaction in shipping companies and, eventually, in the maritime industry as a whole.
MRM course contents:
The MRM course includes modules on Situation Awareness, Attitudes, Communication and Briefings, Challenge and Response, Authority and Assertiveness, Management Styles, Culture, Automation Awareness, Workload and more. The scope of the course is to change attitudes focusing on the crew as a team and addressing crew members' attitudes and behavior.

Identification card or passport
Note to client : After successful completion of the course candidates will receive the Maritime Resource Management course certificate
