There are many advantages of our LCHS Transas simulator such as:
-
Cargo Control System
-
Transas LCHS has a real cargo calculator, the same being used on more than 4,000 ships worldwide. tank calculations, hull strength and ship load in the simulator are carried out using the Load Calculator system. The inclusion of this program was carried out under the terms of STCW-95, B 1/12, and 40 (2,3).
-
Different types of cargo
-
Various types of cargo can be selected from the database saved in the simulator. These databases have been expanded so that activities can be carried out for virtually any type of cargo.
-
Mathematical model
-
The mathematical model is superior to the models used in simulators manufactured by other manufacturers. The mathematical model allows processes to accelerate without damaging physical reality and also reducing training time.
-
Graphic User Area
-
The areas are optimized to get acquainted with all the principles of the entire operating system and to gain practical skills in handling the equipment. The main tanker operations are shown as 3D versions, showing sections of individual circuits. Computer animation is used to display current processes.

High Voltage block BVK-M-7,2 intended for marine purposes. High Voltage training has two levels – operational level and management level. They have been developed to deliver education and training covering marine high voltage power systems to meet specific parts of the regulatory requirements of Tables A-III/1 (operational level) and A-III/2, A-III/3 (management level) of the Annex to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), 1978, as amended. Courses are certified by Croatian Maritime Administration and MCA UK.
Modern DP training on K-SIM DP basic trainers, Ni class C, 3 units, manufacturer Kongsberg Digital AS. Courses we offer are DP Basic and DP Advanced. Our DP training classroom is adjusted for dynamic positioning practical simulation as well as theory. Dynamic positioning training is recommended for deck and engineering officers working on any type vessel equipped with the system and is required for vessels who are classed as DP vessels.
This course is essential in many segments of the maritime industry, especially for the staff in the offshore industry, but also for military and mountain rescue service personnel which is regularly transported by helicopter. As the name implies, the purpose is to prepare candidates for emergency exit in the case of a crash landing over water and to train them for rescue in such situations. The training involves simulated sinking in a pool while rotating the training module upside down with the various background situations. Simultaneously, the candidates are being familiarized to some of the most important actions connected with the crash, as well as the proper response during the fall, avoiding of smoke inhalation, escaping from a helicopter in the quickest and safest way, and the emerging holding the breath or with bottles of oxygen.
