This course covers the mandatory minimum training requirements for Master and Ch. Officers Certification covered by Table A-II\/2 of the STCW Code. This course covers the training recommended in IMO Model Courses 1.22. and IMO Model Course 7.01.<br \/><br \/><br \/><\/p><p><strong>Course content :\u00a0<\/strong>The purpose of the course is to be enabled to efficiently maneuver the large ships. Training will also be provided in techniques to avoid the unintentional transmission of false distress alerts and the procedures to use in order to mitigate the effects of false distress alerts following unintentional transmission. To be aware of all the factors affecting the berthing and unberthing under various conditions of wind and tide, with or without tugs.<br \/><br \/><\/p><p>The course includes:<\/p><ul><li>Proper planning of berthing and unberthing procedures.<\/li><li>Execution of berthing and unberthing procedures.<\/li><li>Assessing prevailing weather and tidal conditions.<\/li><li>Consideration of ships characteristics<\/li><li>Consideration of use of anchors and tugs.<\/li><\/ul><p><br \/><br \/>The course for practical part of the course uses the <a href=\"https:\/\/ssm.hr\/en\/simulators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TRANSAS SIMULATOR<\/a>.<\/p><p>The course for practical part of the course uses the <a href=\"https:\/\/ssm.hr\/en\/simulators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BRIDGE SIMULATOR<\/a>.<\/p><p>The course for practical part of the course uses the <a href=\"https:\/\/ssm.hr\/en\/course\/engine-room-simulator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ENGINE SIMULATOR.<\/a><\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>Duration:<\/strong>\u00a02 days<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>Prerequisite :\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Identification card or passport<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><strong>Note to client :\u00a0<\/strong>After successful completion of the course candidates will receive Large Ship Handling and Manoeuvring Course on the Transas Navigational Bridge Simulator Navi Trainer Professional 4000 certificate.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Large Ship Handling, 2 day course.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.0 -
