Poor communication is the root cause of accidents within the shipping industry. English may not be spoken fluently between all members of a mixed nationality crew or between ship and shore. Marlins\u2019 E-learning platform has been developed to make sure seafarers are able to communicate accurately and fluently with other seafarers and shore personnel.<\/p><p>Marlins Test platform are conducted on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marlinstests.com\/\">Marlins Test Platform.<\/a><br \/><br \/><\/p><p align=\"left\">The table on the link suggests recommended levels for English language of Deck and Engine personnel, using Test of Spoken English (TOSE) and the percentage needed for each category. <a href=\"https:\/\/marlins.freshdesk.com\/support\/solutions\/articles\/1000273832-what-is-the-minimum-acceptance-score-for-the-marlins-english-language-test-tose-test-\">Click here to access the table.<\/a><br \/><br \/>Marlins Test can be conducted online or at the Training Centre where it has its own\u00a0 specific <a href=\"https:\/\/ssm.hr\/en\/classrooms\/\">classroom<\/a> equipped with all equipment necessary. MCA\/Marlins Approved English Language Test Centre:\u00a0<span style=\"white-space: pre-line;\">SSM Training Centre was the first Marlins Approved Test Centre in Croatia . We provide Test Certificates which are acceptable evidence by MCA of level of English knowledge.<\/span><\/p><p align=\"left\"><br \/><br \/><br \/><\/p><p><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 1 day<\/p><br \/><br \/><p><strong>Prerequisite :<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Identification card or passport<\/li><li>Seaman&#8217;s book number<\/li><\/ul><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>Note to client :<\/strong><\/p><p>After successful completion of the course candidates will receive Marlins &amp;
