{"id":16454,"date":"2021-09-03T11:21:33","date_gmt":"2021-09-03T09:21:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ssm.hr\/?post_type=product&#038;p=16454\/"},"modified":"2022-03-23T12:05:28","modified_gmt":"2022-03-23T11:05:28","slug":"wartsila-thrusters","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/ssm.hr\/en\/course\/wartsila-thrusters\/","title":{"rendered":"Wartsila Thrusters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Wartsila Thrusters<br \/><br \/><\/strong><strong>Scope:<\/strong><br \/>WR TH-Wartsila Thrusters are maneuvering devices designed to deliver side thrust or thrust through 360\u00b0. <br \/><br \/>Thrusters are used to allow ships to be more independent from tugs, give them more maneuverability for special tasks, there are three general types of thrust devices: the lateral thruster or tunnel thruster, which consists of a propeller installed in an athwartship tunnel; a jet thruster which consists of a pump taking suction from the keel and discharge to either side; and azimuthal thruster, which can be rotated through 360\u00b0. <br \/><br \/>Thrusters can enhance the maneuverability of existing vessels, particularly at low speeds, and provide a high level of redundancy. <br \/><br \/>Main propulsion system based on thrusters can also provide increased speed, or lower installed power and reduction in fuel consumption.<br \/><br \/><strong>Duration:<\/strong> <br \/>2 days<br \/><br \/>Delegates will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course. This training can be booked via our website or email. We ask all delegates to provide their individual email addresses for enrolment purposes for online trainings. A member of <a href=\"https:\/\/ssm.hr\/trening-centar-ssm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SSM team<\/a> will email you to confirm the enrolment and provide instructions on how to access the course. You will also receive a separate email with attached documentation\/registration\/<a href=\"https:\/\/gdpr.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GDPR<\/a>\/Evaluation\/ which need to be fille, as they are priority for issuing the Certificate.
