Course is open to mariners, seaman who wish to obtain an appropriate certificate in order to perform as an able seafarer engine. Able seafarer engine <a href=\"https:\/\/ssm.hr\/faq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">course<\/a> has been designed to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills in seamanship required o preform duties as an able seafarer engine.<\/p><p><strong><br \/>Course content:<br \/><\/strong>Marine Engineering at the Support Level<br \/>Electrical, Electronic and Control Engineering at the Support Level<br \/>Maintenance and Repair at the Support Level<br \/>Controlling the Operation of the Ship and Care for Persons on Board at the Support Level<br \/>Contributing a safety to the engine room<br \/>Conduct tracking and overwatch of the guard in the engine room<br \/>Adaptation to fuel supply and oil transfer procedures<br \/>Applying bald and ballistic methods<br \/>Applying equipment and machinery<br \/>Safe use of electrical equipment<br \/>Assembling maintenance and repairs on board<br \/>Adoption of inventory management<br \/>Apply precautionary measures and contribute to the prevention of pollution of the marine environment<br \/>Apply procedures for safety and protection at work<\/p><p><strong><br \/>Duration: <br \/><\/strong>4 days<\/p><p><strong><br \/>Prerequisite:<br \/><\/strong>Identification card or passport<br \/>2 passport size-colored photographs<br \/>Meet the requirements for certification as a rating forming part of a watch in manned engine-room (fitter, oiler)<br \/>While qualified to serve as a rating forming part of an engineering watch, have approved seagoing service in the engine department not less than 6 months and have completed approved training<br \/>Marine Environment Awareness<br \/>Medical exam<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>D40 &#8211; Able Seafarer Engine<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.0 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>D40 - Able Seafarer Engine - maritime training course<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"D40 - Able Seafarer Engine.
