On April 15, 2026, the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split hosted its annual Career Day, a well-established event that for the seventh consecutive year has brought together students and representatives of the maritime industry. This year’s edition gathered 42 companies, while more than 1,000 students had the opportunity to explore career opportunities, engage directly with employers, and gain insight into current labor market needs.
Throughout the event, company presentations and on-site discussions were held, providing students with a clearer understanding of career paths within the maritime sector. The event once again highlighted the importance of strong cooperation between academia and industry, as well as the high employability of maritime professionals.
Split Ship Management participated with a promotional stand, where students had the opportunity to learn more about employment opportunities, internships, and training programs within the company. A significant number of valuable contacts were established with students and industry representatives, with a strong focus on presenting career development opportunities in the maritime field.
As part of the event, a meeting was also held with representatives of the Faculty, during which mutual interest in continuing and further strengthening cooperation was confirmed.
By participating in this event, Split Ship Management once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting young professionals and maintaining strong ties with the academic community.
