Yacht Courses
We organize training courses for seafarers in accordance with the STCW Convention and the applicable Regulations on Boats and Yachts. We also arrange customized individual courses to meet your specific requirements! Our commitment is to ensure that aspiring seafarers successfully pass all necessary exams and perform their maritime duties professionally and conscientiously.
In response to market demand, we have developed the "STCW Yacht Master" course.
Excel in your profession, comply with the laws of the Republic of Croatia, and become a yacht skipper by completing the following STCW courses:
Yacht Master Category A (100 GT yacht)
Course Objective: Upon completion of the Category A Yacht Skipper course (yachts up to 100 GT), participants will be qualified to operate and command yachts of up to 100 GT for all purposes and in all navigation areas. TOTAL: 75 hours (50 hours of lectures and exercises + 25 hours of practical sailing).
VALIDITY of certificates: The “Yacht Master Category A” certificate (up to 100 gross tons) is issued for a period of 5 (five) years. It is renewed upon presentation of a valid certificate of medical fitness for crew members of seagoing ships, boats, and yachts, issued by an authorized physician.

Yacht Master Category B (500 GT yacht)
Individuals qualified as Category B yacht masters are authorized to command yachts for which a Category B yacht master is qualified.
Course objective: Upon completion of the Category B Yacht Master course (yachts up to 500 GT), participants will be qualified to operate and command yachts of up to 500 GT for all purposes and in all navigation areas. TOTAL: 214 hours (174 hours of lectures and 40 hours of practical sailing).
Certificate validity: The "Category B Yacht Master" certificate (up to 500 gross tons) is issued for a period of 5 (five) years. The certificate may be renewed after 5 years for the same duration if the individual or seafarer has completed at least twelve months of sea service in the capacity of "yacht master up to 500 GT" and meets the prescribed health requirements, particularly regarding vision and hearing.
