DIRECTOR’S DECLARATION ON QUALITY,
SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION POLICY
The policy of quality, safety, and environmental protection is to work in accordance with established procedures, ensuring the satisfaction of service users with high-quality, safe services, while also prioritizing environmental protection. The implementation of the quality and safety policy will adhere to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC 2006 regulations, IHM Inventory of Hazardous Materials (EU Ship Recycling Regulation No. 1257/2013 – additives (PFOS/HBCDD)), and Cyber Security IMO resolution MSC.428 (98).

Ship Management Ltd. will accomplish the objectives of its policy by:
• Compliance with all international and domestic legal regulations and other applicable standards related to the activity and business of Ship Management
• Regular training of seafarers and land workers
• Project analysis per department, ship, and office EMS analysis
• Risk assessment, ship, and office drills, misses and near misses
• Proper Master Review
• Frequent ship inspections
• Ship and office internal audits
• Investment in the maintenance and procurement of resources and equipment needed for technical and personnel management and training
• Careful selection of new seafarers and land workers
• Meeting the expectations and demands of service users and being prepared to respond in critical and emergency situations
The Quality Management Policy of Ship Management Ltd. is oriented toward the user of our services, ensuring a continuously high quality of services, determining user satisfaction, and decisively using our knowledge to permanently improve services.
The Environmental and Safety Policy ensures the safety of ship operation, guarantees a safe working environment, introduces protection for all identified risks, and continuously improves the security capabilities of personnel on land and on ships. This includes readiness for critical safety situations and the prevention of environmental pollution. Reducing harmful emissions into the earth, sea, air, and atmosphere and measures to reduce the amount of wastewater, while ensuring proper handling, treatment, and/or disposal to appropriate organizations, are paramount. It is our responsibility to the local community and the quality of life within it. Environmental aspects are considered annually.
Quality and safety management and environmental protection are our top priorities, and the Quality and Safety Environmental Manual is the fundamental management document. To maintain our position in the market and move forward, we pay special attention to risk analysis and risk management. All incidents, including those concerning environmental impact, are immediately investigated, and recommendations are communicated through line management, Fleet and QSE Management, and DPA.
The achievement of the set goals will be measured through a series of analyses, including determining customer/user satisfaction, analyzing the success of performed work, measuring the amount of achieved targets, measuring achieved staff training, procurement of new equipment, the number of newly created cooperations, financial results achieved, EMS analyses, measuring the KPI index within cumulative analyses, the number of critical situations and their analysis, the number of risk assessments and their analyses, and more. Measurements are conducted weekly, monthly, semi-annually, annually through daily operational meetings, individual department analyses, and target analyses within the Management Review semi-annually and annually.
