Low-voltage (LV) drives are designed to operate at output voltages equal to or less than 690 V. While motor-application LV drives are available in ratings of up to the order of 5 or 6 MW, economic considerations typically favor medium-voltage (MV) drives with much lower power ratings.
Also known as variable frequency drives (VFD), variable speed drives, adjustable frequency drives, AC drives, micro drives, or inverter drives, they're used to control electric motor speed and torque. Much like a soft start, low voltage variable frequency drives can control stop and start.

Delegates will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course. ABB DR - ABB LV DRIVES training can be booked via our website or email. We ask all delegates to provide their individual email addresses for enrolment purposes for online trainings. A member of SSM team will email you to confirm the enrolment and provide instructions on how to access the course. You will also receive a separate email with attached documentation/registration/GDPR/Evaluation/ which need to be fille, as they are priority for issuing the Certificate.
